26 December 07     ELECTRICITY TARIFF REVISION FOR THE PERIOD 1 JANUARY TO 31 MARCH 2008   1          For the quarter 1 Jan to 31 Mar 08, the electricity tariffs will be increased by an average 5.94% or 1.24 cents per kWh due to the higher cost of electricity arising from higher fuel oil prices. The revised tariffs are shown in the table attached (Appendix 1).      2          For the period 1 Jan to 31 Mar 08, tariffs are pegged to a higher forward fuel oil price of US$66.28 or S$96.64 per barrel.
