19 March 2008     ELECTRICITY TARIFF REVISION FOR THE PERIOD 1 APRIL TO 30 JUNE 2008   1          For the quarter 1 Apr to 30 Jun 08, the electricity tariffs will be increased by an average 5.7% or 1.26 cents (S$0.0126) per kWh due to the higher cost of electricity arising from higher fuel oil prices. The revised tariffs are shown in the table attached (Appendix 1).    2          For the period 1 Apr to 30 Jun 08, tariffs are pegged to a higher forward fuel oil price of US$74.40 per barrel.
