Singapore Power (SP) Group
is a leading energy utility company in the Asia Pacific.
With assets of S$26.3 billion at end March 2009, it is one of the largest
corporations in Singapore. It owns and operates electricity and gas
transmission and distribution businesses.
International benchmark indicators rate SP's electricity grid in Singapore as
one of the world's best performing networks, beating those of other global
cities.
SP owns and operates electricity and gas transmission and distribution
businesses and provides energy market support services in Singapore and
Australia.

Singapore Division
In Singapore, the group provides electricity and gas transmission and
distribution, and market support services to over a million industrial and
domestic customers.
SP's Singapore division has four main business units

SP PowerAssets owns electricity transmission and distribution assets including 29,000 km of underground cables in service.

PowerGas owns transmission and distribution assets including 2,800 km of pipelines.

SP PowerGrid manages and operates these assets.

SP Services provides market support services to electricity, gas and water customers.
International Division
In Australia, SP Group owns
SPI (Australia) Assets, a diversified energy utility company,
and 51 per cent of SP
AusNet which is public listed on the Australian and Singapore stock
exchanges.
